Perched high in the Hollywood Hills is Julius Shulman's own Studio and Residence built for him by Raphel Soriano in 1950 and now a Los Angeles Cultural Landmark. Shulman and his collaborator on this project, David Tseklenis, recently photographed the home, office and surrounding gardens. The book culminates in a photograph made by Shulman of his property in the 1940s, as it was being prepared for construction.
One picture book #52 with an original pigmented inkjet print tipped in the final page (3 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches), signed on rear by Shulman.
