According to Slimane he started with clothes when he was sixteen but he started with photography at the age of eleven when he first purchased a camera. As his fashion designs have slowed down (Slimane recently stated not be interested to work for Dior) his photographic activities have increased. He did the cover for Lady Gaga’s ‘The Fame Monster’ and pictures for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
